An opportunity to join a special group of both aspiring and experienced yoga teachers and serious students who are ready to deepen their practice and transform themselves into more effective and creative yoga therapy teachers.
Bhakti means devotion to something higher than just ourselves. Whether it be toward a relationship, a family, a community, future generations or all beings, bhakti is essentially the development of compassion, love, gratitude and equanimity.
Vinyasa Krama means to move skillfully with the breath. It is a set of principles that can help us accept where we are now so that we can move with integrity, from one posture to the next in a Vinaysa flowing sequence, toward optimal well-being.
These intensive yoga teacher trainings will inspire or re-inspire the fundamentals of vinyasa flow yoga with a devotional aspect that will awaken the heart to love and peace. Students looking to become teachers, students who are currently teachers with or without previous training, or students simply having the desire to deepen their practice, will find this course inspiring and practical.

-Asana, including rules and benefits, warm ups, salutations to the sun, standing series, on the back series, sitting series, on the knees series, on the stomach series, balance postures, headstand series, relaxation series, yoga nidra.

-A desire to deepen your own practice
-A daily yoga practice
-A minimum of 12 months practicing yoga, any style, with a qualified teacher.
Each day includes a homework to be completed and checked by Tina each night.
The following book reports are to be completed before program begins.
1) Jivamukti Yoga by Sharon Gannon and David Life
Read the whole book and write one paragraph describing something you learned from the book. Write your commentary as if it were to be given as a spiritual teaching in a yoga class you would teach.
2) Yoga Sutras of Patanjali Book by Satchidananda Saraswati
Read the whole book and write about one sutra that inspired you in the book. Write your commentary as if it were to be given as a spiritual teaching in a yoga class you would teach.
3) The Radiance Sutras by Lorin Roche
Write a focus of the month using a sutra then build your class around this
Each Spiritual Commentary should be submitted before or on the first day of training and must be:
1) Length: one paragraph, no longer than 250 words.
2) Print the title of the book immediately above your paragraph commentary for that book.
3) Print ALL commentaries one after the other on one single sheet of plain 8.5 x 11 paper (or closest standard size for international students), double-sided. If you cannot print double-sided, then print all commentaries on no more than two sheets of paper, stapled together.
4) Include your name on the top of the page, or if using two pages then on the top of each page.
5) Please retain a copy for your own records.
Spiritual Commentaries need to be submitted in person on the first day of training to Tina.
